Be your own hero

Just like Blister from the movie Whip It, I believe that I can be my own hero. To me a hero is someone that believes in themselves and others. I believe that I can be a hero to myself. A hero helps people and I think that I can help myself. A hero also gives people hope for a brighter, happier future. I have hope that my future will be bright and that is one of my lifelong goals. Of course like most heroes, I get a little in over my head sometimes but that is a part of being a great person. Sometimes I forget to do things or I just don’t feel like it but everyone has those days. I mean look at spider man. In the second movie, he kind of gave up being a hero to focus on having a normal life. Eventually he realized that his people needed him. The only person that needs me as a hero is me and no one can change that. As a hero to myself I understand that people expect a lot from me and sometimes I just can’t give them what they want. I am my hero and no one else’s and no matter how I feel I always know that I will have a hero to rescue me. No matter what mess I get into or what happens in the future, there will always be a hero nearby to help me figure it out. I am my own hero so why can’t you be yours?
