Lit circle blog POst
All of the lit circles were great and i think Sonja had the best questions and she was always on topic. i liked how her questions related to the book and real life at the same time. Great job Sonja! Kealan's questions were poorly done and he obviously did not put any time into his work like Sonja and Anne did. Dylan's posts were really good!

It's Almost Over!
Sixth grade has gone by so quickly. I still can't believe it's almost over. I am very proud of my achievements this year. I have been handling my grades pretty well considering it is my first year in not only middle school but it is also my first year being taught in the American system. I am proud of how I handled my social life as well as my academic life. I have improved a lot since my transition from the British system of learning into the American learning system. I have gotten a very good grade in math which is usually my weakest subject. I have not done my best in humanities however which is a combination of my two strongest subjects. I am disappointed with my grade in humanities however I realize that I have worked toward my grade meaning I could have worked a lot harder. Even though I have not been here for very long I have made some amazing friends here and even though I miss my friends back home I am having a very good time at this school because of the awesome people here.
Even though I do not show it I have learned how to manage my home work and my activities like swimming. I do my homework I just forget to turn it in. I have learned to speak spanish and play the violin and trumpet. I am on the swim team and i love going to swim meets and winning medals. Even if I don't win a medal the experience is AMAZING.
Some skills I want to learn is how to turn in my assignments in time and how to keep a good impresion on most of my teachers.
My main Goal for the next year is to have only A's and B's on my report card because most of my teachers believe that if I try I can acheive what ever I put my mind to. I can't wait for the rest of my sixth grade year at ISKL the best school in the land.
