Lit circle blog POst
All of the lit circles were great and i think Sonja had the best questions and she was always on topic. i liked how her questions related to the book and real life at the same time. Great job Sonja! Kealan's questions were poorly done and he obviously did not put any time into his work like Sonja and Anne did. Dylan's posts were really good!

It's Almost Over!
Sixth grade has gone by so quickly. I still can't believe it's almost over. I am very proud of my achievements this year. I have been handling my grades pretty well considering it is my first year in not only middle school but it is also my first year being taught in the American system. I am proud of how I handled my social life as well as my academic life. I have improved a lot since my transition from the British system of learning into the American learning system. I have gotten a very good grade in math which is usually my weakest subject. I have not done my best in humanities however which is a combination of my two strongest subjects. I am disappointed with my grade in humanities however I realize that I have worked toward my grade meaning I could have worked a lot harder. Even though I have not been here for very long I have made some amazing friends here and even though I miss my friends back home I am having a very good time at this school because of the awesome people here.
Even though I do not show it I have learned how to manage my home work and my activities like swimming. I do my homework I just forget to turn it in. I have learned to speak spanish and play the violin and trumpet. I am on the swim team and i love going to swim meets and winning medals. Even if I don't win a medal the experience is AMAZING.
Some skills I want to learn is how to turn in my assignments in time and how to keep a good impresion on most of my teachers.
My main Goal for the next year is to have only A's and B's on my report card because most of my teachers believe that if I try I can acheive what ever I put my mind to. I can't wait for the rest of my sixth grade year at ISKL the best school in the land.

What Would You Rather Be?
Hi guys! As you all know we have been studying Social Scientists. If I could be any social scientist I would choose to be an Archaeologist. I would love to be an Archaeologist because i love discovering new things and travelling to see how differernt the world is. I would love to do this job because when I'm not being bossed around by my little sister I enjoy going around the house and finding out something new about the house everyday. I have discovered A small crack in the roof of my bedroom, it's big enough to fit a tiny elf in the space. I'm trying to figure out how to get into the space. I love finding out new things. so you heard who I want to be and why now I have a question for you Which Social Scientist Would You Rather Be? I hoped you liked my post see ya next time!

Blog Post#1
Hi! My name is Angelika but my friends call me Angie.I am from Canada and my mom is from Venezuela. My dad is from a twin island in the Caribbean called Trinidad And Tobago. I have little sister named Antonia. I love to go shopping and hang out with my friends. I love reading and playing sports (even though I'm no good at sport). I enjoy going to the and when I was in trinidad I used to live 15 minutes away but now that I live in Malaysia it takes me 5 hours to get to the beach so I just swim in my pool instead.
I love to read and the last three books I read were Angel by Helena McCathy, Snakehead by Anthony Horowitz and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. Angel is a book about a 13 year old girl named Kritina whose only friend is her pet cat but when her cat dies she all alone. Just when I was about to put the book down it got super interesting.A new kid named Leo arrives in town and becomes great friends with Kristina. They have many adventures together and Kristina considers Leo her Angel. Snakehead is about a teenage spy named Alex Rider who goes on a secret mission to unmask the plot behind a major criminal Organization called Snakehead. This story takes place in South East Asia, Jakarta Indonesia to be exact. Alex is reunited with a close family friend who he thinks is the only person he can trust. Read the book to find out more... I am still reading Little Women but so far, from what Iread it is truly a classic!
The last movie i saw was Bedtime Stories. I was watching it last night with my sister. That is definitely one of the funiest shows I've seen in a long time.
One of the academic goals are to stay focused and not let anything stop me from putting my best work and attitude out there!
One of the social goals are to be as nice and as friendly as possible to everyone around me.
My favorite vacation memory was going to mexico and seeing my family again.
Hmmmmmmmmm...... 5 adjectives that describe me are Outgoing, Smart, Cute,Funny and Weirdly Social, (according to my bffl peggy)
